Public Statement on the Personal Data Protection Act for the Hotel Joint Ticket Project:
Welcome to the Hotel Joint Ticket Project (hereinafter referred to as “this Project”). In accordance with Article 8, Paragraph 1 of the Personal Data Protection Act (hereinafter referred to as the “PDPA”), and in order to ensure the protection of users’ personal data, privacy, and rights, once you have read and agreed to the “Personal Data Protection Notice of this Project,” you acknowledge and agree to exercise your legally granted consent rights in electronic form, which shall have the same legal effect as written consent. If you do not agree, please leave this webpage. For general accommodation booking services, please contact the hotel’s service staff. (The following statements are required to be disclosed in accordance with the PDPA. Please read them carefully.)

1. Purpose of Personal Data Collection:

  1. The handling of purchases for short-term or temporary accommodation services and the add-on purchase of THSR train tickets are included as the purposes of personal data collection under this Project.

2. Categories of Personal Data Collected:

  1. To comply with Taiwan High Speed Rail ticket booking and verification requirements, identification-related data you provide will be collected, including but not limited to: Chinese and English names, National Identification Number, passport number, telephone number, order number, and THSR personal membership account information.

3. Duration, Area, Subjects, and Methods of Personal Data Use:

  1. Duration: The period necessary for the use and retention required for this Project.
  2. Area: Your personal data will be used within the territory of Taiwan.
  3. Subjects: The hotels participating in this Project and Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation.
  4. Methods: Electronic documents, paper-based records, or use by automated or non-automated means.
  5. You may choose whether to provide personal data. However, if personal data is not provided or is incomplete, resulting in the hotel being unable to carry out necessary notifications, reviews, or processing, and therefore unable to provide related services or affecting your rights and interests, you shall bear full responsibility and may not make any claims or requests against the hotel.

4. In accordance with Article 3 of the PDPA, you may exercise the following rights with respect to your personal data under this Project:

  1. The right to inquire or request access
  2. The right to request a copy
  3. The right to request supplementation or correction
  4. The right to request cessation of collection, processing, or use
  5. The right to request deletion

If you wish to exercise the above statutory rights, you may do so via the hotel’s customer service hotline ( ) or the hotel’s customer service email address ( ). If you request the rights stated in items (4) or (5) above, you may consequently be unable to continue participating in or using this Project.

The hotel reserves the right to revise the contents of this Project’s notification at any time.
